Walk Worthy of The Lord
“so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to [fully] please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts];”
Colossians 1:10 AMP
The Strong’s Concordance definition of the word “walk” refers to the way you conduct yourself. In this scripture, Strong’s concordance also describes the word “worthy” to mean having worth that "matches" actual value. Essentially, your actions should MATCH the God that you serve.
Do your actions match that you are a child of God? Can people see Jesus in the way you conduct yourself?
When you take on the label of a saint, your actions should be representative of the Kingdom. This Kingdom mindset should spread into all areas of your life and the roles you take.
For instance, let’s say you are a student and you call yourself a saint. However, you show up to class late, hardly complete assignments, don’t participate in discussion, and are simply not putting your best foot forward. This is not conduct that is a proper reflection of the behavior we should display as people who are called to be set apart.
This applies to our professional roles, interpersonal relationships, and in ministry.
Colossians 3:23 Amplified Bible
23 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,
It is not Christ-like character to display behavior that always falls short of set standards and expectations. In all that you do, do it well! Walk worthy of the Lord.
