He’s there.

What a wonderful thing it is to know that when you cry out to the Lord, He’s there. Why? Because He is our Rock. He is faithful and reliable, always has been and always will be.

“They were given help against them, and the Hagrites were handed over to them and all who were allied with them: for they cried out to God [for help] in the battle; and He granted their entreaty because they relied on and trusted in Him” 1 Chronicles 5:20 emphasis added

You see, because the children of Israel relied on and trusted in the Lord, he was THERE. His people cried out to Him and He heard them and handed their enemies over to them.

Since the beginning of time, The Lord has been there for the ones who have relied on and trusted in Him and He will always be there.

Though the book of Chronicles was written roughly 2,476 years ago, it is a wonderful testament and reminder that truly the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever more, hallelujah!

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Hebrews 13:8 NKJV

One of my favorite scriptures is 1 Samuel 2:2 and it reads:

“There is no one holy like the Lord, There is no one besides You, There is no Rock like our God.” 1 Samuel 2:2 AMP emphasis added

Truly there is no rock like our God. There is nothing else that you could put your trust in and rely upon like the Lord. Since the beginning of time (and until the end of time), He will always be there for those who rely on and trust in Him.

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, But we will remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalms 20:7 AMP

Recently, I found myself in a place where I felt alone, but the Lord has shown me that no matter how we feel or what we are going through, when we cry out to Him, He is there

“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread.” Psalms 37:25 KJV

“Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” [Josh 1:5]” Hebrews 13:5 AMP

The whole point of the matter is, He’s there. When you cry out to Him, He’s there. When you feel alone, He’s there. When you put your trust in Him, He will be there! Always has been and always will be. The Lord is our rock in whom we rely on.

Blessed be the name of the Lord who is our unchanging rock and who is always there for His people.
