Options
Living in America, we are blessed with so many options. If you walk into a grocery store, you will see a variety of many things. If you’re in need of bread, there are plenty of types to choose from. You can choose between white, wheat, rye, sourdough, raisin bread, brioche, whole grain, and etc. The same could be said if you’re in the market looking for a new car, house, clothes, or shoes. There are endless options to choose from. Having a myriad of possibilities can be a bad thing. We often make the wrong selection when there is only one right choice.

11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Let’s not be deceived into thinking we have options. Let’s not get distracted by what may seem appealing or easy, because oftentimes that is the wrong choice. Align your desires with the Lord’s desires and commit your ways to Him. When you trust and follow the Lord, you will not fail.
